Don’t get Me twisted Sister,

I’m not a hater, traitor, or a facts manipulator.

Don’t get Me twisted Mister,

I’m not afraid of you, or your point of view.

Don’t get Me twisted Sister,

On what I stand for, and for whom.

Don’t get Me twisted Mister,

I stand for all of us, not just a few.

Don’t get Me twisted Sister,

Black, brown, and Jews,

Are people I stand for, and our children too.

Don’t get Me twisted Mister,

You can fly a flag with lines of Blue,

or one that represents the confederacy, hitler,

a Black Lives Matters, or even Q’s,

however we are All Americans United under One Flag, of Red, White, and Blue.

Don’t get Me twisted Sister,

no matter who I know, I’m an independent soul.

Don’t get Me twisted Mister,

fear is not a suppressor,

It’s a motivational messenger.

Don’t get Me twisted Sister,

God is on my side, So is my pride.

Don’t get me twisted Mister,

I would happily take the knee,

For love of Country,

Justice, and Liberty!
